SODE depends on two important file paths during execution:
- Location of XML/SDX definition files
- Location of the SimObjects
Moreover, FSX itself needs to know where the SODE module is located. This is done with an entry in the „exe.xml“ resp. “dll.xml” files provided by the flight simulator.
In addition, the scenery designer needs to manipulate another file, which is the „modeldef.xml“ provided by the simulator SDK.
