    Hello,

I’m trying to display some objets depending on the season. SODE 1.4.0 is working fine with P3Dv3, so the objects are displaying correctly but it fails with FSX or FSX:SE using the same XML file. The objects are black, because SODE doesn’t find the associated textures. After analysing using procmon tool, it appears that SODE is not looking at the right place with FSX or FSX:SE, it looks in the scenery/global or main texture folder of the simulator instead of the texture directory of my SODE SimObjects.
    Did I do someting wrong?
    Thank you.
    Best regards

    Hi again,

After looking at this problem for hours, I finally discover what it was: the MDL that was showing with black textures was declared twice in the FSX.cfg (two different SimObjectPaths pointing to the same models) and SODE was apparently looking for the wrong one, probably because it was first in the SimObjectPaths definitions.

Thanks for your feedback and your solution.
Yes, duplicate entries always lead to problems when using SimObjects. Glad you were able to solve it!
