    Hi there,
    I’m trying to install SODE for the jetways to work on T2G Paris – the p3d v3 tab comes up absolutely fine in the platform manager, but FSX Steam doesn’t appear on it at all and it gives me no option to install/register into FSX Steam. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

    Have you had original FSX installed before on your machine?

    Navigate to C:\ProgramData\12bpilot\SODE\log and post the contents of the PLTMGR_DETECTION.log.

    I did, but I have to say that no other product has a problem finding FSX Steam, including GSX, all sceneries, all addon aircraft etc.
    I have seen the registry repair thing on the internet but my co-existence is already set to 0.

    I don’t know what the other add-ons are doing, maybe just checking the existance of the main key, but SODE needs the install path string of each detected sim.
    For FSX-SE it is at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\DovetailGames\FSX -> Install_Path
    This key is missing in your registry according to the log.

    I don’t have a DovetailGames folder in the WOW6432Node part of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Why do you have it and I don’t? Weird.
    Is there any way I can add it to the registry to trick SODE into installing?

    On both my machines (Win7 and Win10, 64bit), normal installation of FSX-Steam Edition will create those keys in the registry.
    Don’t know why you don’t have them.
    Of course you could manually create that Install Path key, use regedit for that.

    Hello, I can not make the sode appear in the FSX-SE taskbar.
