Good day
Im am another one having activation problems, ive installed and un-installed SODE several times
Im using the 1.6.3 version from your website in P3D v4
After installing it as admin and installing it into is desired location of C:\Program Files (x86)\12bPilot\SODE
the platform manger will register however it will not activate, previously uninstalling the program and reinstall would resolve this however this time it wont
Ive checked my reg for my p3d location and its correct, ive placed the p3dv4 folder in the my docs p3d v4 addons folder and clicked on run at start up
I have simmconnect version 10.0.61259.0
And i have no log to review as it keeps telling to run the sim for the first time (hence im chasing my tail)

12. November 2018 at 15:02 #301012bPilotKeymasterSo there are absolutely no logs at C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\log? -> PLTMGR_DETECTION.log or PLTMGR_P3Dv4.log ?
Do you use some kind of add-on organizer tool?
20. November 2018 at 08:16 #3050jeansyParticipantsorry for the delay as ive been away
[08:29:11.686] INFO : SODE Version 1.6.3
[08:29:11.686] DEBUG : CommandLineArgs [1]: NONE!
[08:29:11.686] FATAL : No Target Simulator Platform supplied! Shuting down…
[08:29:11.686] INFO : Terminate SODE.Im not sure how its not finding P3Dv4.3 all other programs locate the directory and even after using after a client repair and a p3d registry entry tool it still will not activate
20. November 2018 at 19:59 #305112bPilotKeymasterWhat about those files -> PLTMGR_DETECTION.log or PLTMGR_P3Dv4.log ?
Are they existing?
21. November 2018 at 12:04 #3053PilotOneParticipantI already had a similar mistake. SODE did not work after uninstalling and reinstalling, even though the registry was correctly displayed in the SODE Platform Manager.
The reason for this was an incorrect entry in addon.cfg in the directory C: \ ProgramData \ Lockheed Martin \ Prepar3D v4
This read:
[Package.1]
PATH = C: \ Program Files (x86 \ 12bPilot \ SODE \ P3Dv3 (!) Instead of P3D4
TITLE = SODE
ACTIVE = true
REQUIRED = false
The result of this is that the wrong (!) .Dll file, namely the SimObjectAnimationModule.dll (for P3D) is called in the SODE program folder “P3D” instead of the SimObjectAnimationModule64.dll (for P3D4, 64bit) in the folder “P3D4”.
And then nothing works, even though it seems correct in the SODE platform Manage. Wrong dll file, no function.
Check that out.

It seems something in the add-ons.cfg file is not right. Can you upload that one for me?
It is located at C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\add-ons.cfg

23. November 2018 at 13:08 #306512bPilotKeymasterOk, that entry numbering got somewhat messed up.
SODE Platform Manager expects the entries to be in sequence, starting from “Package.0”.
You can hand edit that file so that the entry numbers are in sequence, like this:
[Package.0]
PATH=C:\Users\jeans\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\UUEE Moscow Sheremetyevo X
ACTIVE=true
REQUIRED=false
[Package.1]
PATH=C:\Users\jeans\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\VLC_libraries
ACTIVE=true
REQUIRED=false
[Package.2]
PATH=C:\Users\jeans\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\Washington X
ACTIVE=true
REQUIRED=false
[Package.3]
PATH=C:\Users\jeans\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\WSSS Singapore P3Dv4
ACTIVE=true
REQUIRED=false
[Package.4]
PATH=C:\Users\jeans\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\ZSPD Shanghai P3Dv4
ACTIVE=true
REQUIRED=false
[Package.5]
PATH=C:\Program Files (x86)\12bPilot\SODE\P3Dv4
TITLE=SODE
ACTIVE=true
REQUIRED=false
