Hi. I havw both FSX (SP2) and Prepar3d V4 installed. After installing SODE 1.5.2 I find that it will not register on the P3Dv4 tab in the platform manager. SODE is installed in the defauld location, C:\Program Files (x86)\12bPilot\SODE, and the platform, exe.xml and dll.xml paths appear to be correct, in my case J:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 and C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d v4

EDIT: There is no SODE entry in either the Add-ons menu item or in Options/Add-ons in P3Dv4. It registers ok on the FSX tab, and appears to work properly in that sim.

I’m not sure where to begin. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hello,

Can you try out the updated Platform Manager: http://sode.12bpilot.ch/?wpdmpro=sode-platform-manager-28jan17
    This should fix it.

I have the same problem, tried the link to the enclosed executable. Did not work for me. It tried to launch P3D in the background five times (each time P3D crashing and asking me to respond). Additional warning included Old SODE entries in exe.xml, dll, etc. I did a Windows uninstall of SODE previously and searched for entries of SODE in regedit.

    Hi Howard

Seems your sim config files are somewhat messed up.
    I need the following files:

    From %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3

    • dll.xml
    • exe.xml
    • Prepar3D.cfg

    From %PROGRAMDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3

    • dll.xml
    • exe.xml
    • simobjects.cfg

    From %PROGRAMDATA%\12bPilot\SODE\log

    • PLTMGR.log
    • PLTMGR_DETECTION.log

So that’s 8 files in total. You can zip them and send them to my e-mail http://sode.12bpilot.ch/?page_id=46

That’s a very old thread you digged out.
    It is already out dated!

The latest Platform Manager always comes with the latest SODE installer. No need to use old ones…
