After re-installing DD Lows, SODE installer openend and for the first time I did recieve an error message “The registry holds an invalid path to your Prepar3d.exe”
I did browse for helpful Links and statements and yes I did found the possibility to use “REGEDIT” to fix the registry – but when I am searching in HKEY Local machine under software and Lockheed Martin – the setup path is the same I do have on my computer….
so it seems that with the registry everything is correct…
So please help me out in that case, so what can I do ?

    thx in advance
    Best,
    E.

Which registry entry did you check?

The correct one which is created by the Prepar3D v4 installer is here: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4

Can you check if you have a key in the 32-bit part of the registry -> Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 ?

If there is one, then this confuses the SODEPlatformManager…this key should not be existing. Do you run some kind of Migration tool?

This entry should not exist. I guess this was created by Migration tool.
To be safe, I‘d just edit the path and not delete it.
