Hello,
Yes this is expected. The SimObjects (e.g. jetways) are placed in a common, shared folder which can be accessed by many different sims (to save resources and to make it easier for the developer).
A special xml file is used for placement and configuration of those objects. So if the developer just creates a “simple” xml without specifying the simulator the objects should appear in, they will then appear in every sim.
However, there is a mechanism built into SODE’s xml structure to define specific called “TargetSim”. So the developer can create a xml for each sim, or group of sims. For example xml file 1 for TargetSim ID=”FSX;FSX-SE;P3Dv3;P3Dv4″ and xml file 2 for TargetSim ID=”P3Dv5″. See the doc here:Â https://sode.12bpilot.ch/?document=the-xml-definition-file/targetsim
So, for you to workaround you can add such a TargetSim node in the xml file for LEAS
<SODE>
<TargetSim ID=”FSX;FSX-SE;P3Dv2;P3Dv3;P3Dv4″/>
…
</SODE>
This will prevent the objects to load in P3D v5. But you can also inform the developer about this possibility.
Cheers
