    Hello,

I have a problem with Taxi2Gate LFPG for Prepar3D v4. Whenever I select a stand (GSX/Sode menus) the jetway/s will instantly move up and to the left of the plane. I have attached a screenshot. Unregister + register did solve the problem but just for once. I’m not what is the problem, and whether I have to contact T2G or you… What should I do?

    Thanks a lot!

It happens when I use PMDG 777 at many stands. The SODE menu does show select a stand option and also shows “Np triggerable objects were found within 6.5NM”

    I am using Prepar3d v4 hotfix 1. Windows 10 64bit.

Where can I post my pictures?

Pictures need to be smaller than 256KB in filesize. Use jpg or png with higher compression to attach here.

Can you also attach the SODE.log file? It’s at C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\log

    Hello,

BOth files are too big even after compression, so I shared them with a link in OneDrive.

    Thanks for the links.

Hmm, this is a tough one. SODE.log doesn’t show any faults.
Does this only happen at LFPG? Did you try to select a jetway at EPWA? Does the jetway also move in that upward position?

    Hello,

I’ve tested it for a bit. EPWA and KEWR jetways work as they should. At LFPG itself it looks like that most jetways work too, the ones I found out that don’t work are A4, A34, A36, A38.

    So I think it’s the airport’s problem…?

    Thank you very much!!

Ok, if the issue shows only at some jetways, then it’s with the jetway models.
I tried those stands and they work fine here.

    1. What if you slew your aircraft towards the jetway, do the jetways eventually change the position?

    2. When you go to C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\SimObjects\Taxi2Gate_LFPG\model.Jetway2A_SAT, what’s the creation date of the “Taxi2Gate_LFPG_JW_A_2A_SAT.mdl” file?

    3. When you go to C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\SimObjects\Taxi2Gate_LFPG\model.Jetway2A, what’s the creation date of the “Taxi2Gate_LFPG_JW_A_2A.mdl” file?

    Hello,

    1. I have tried to slew my aircraft the jetway and also I used GSXs “just wrap me there” function, both changed nothing. Jetways still go left and high.

I was studying, sorry for the long time it took me to answer.

    Thanks,

    1. Try again by slewing the aircraft’s center into and over the “base” cylinder (the rotation point) of the jetway…
2 and 3. I think that’s the (modification) date when it got installed on your system. The original file creation date can be seen by right-clicking the model to open the “Properties” window, the first date of the three (Creation) is the one I’m looking for.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    1. Just tried, nothing changed. They’re still pointing up high.

    Maksim,

Sorry to tell you that at the moment, I have no clue what the cause is for the issue.
Could you send me those two mdl files directly (in a zip) to this address? https://sode.12bpilot.ch/?page_id=46

To be sure, couly you generate a simconnect.log as described in the FAQ, Section D: https://sode.12bpilot.ch/?topic=faq
Just launch you sim and once you see the Scenario screen, close the sim. Then send me the simconnect.log.
This way, I am able to see which modules get loaded exactly.

After inspection of files, found out that they were compiled with an inappropriate SDK. P3Dv2 mdl files won’t properly load in FSX. Also, the model had no animations in it to start with…

Taxi2Gate has to supply the correct files.
    Case closed.

so i am having what seems like the same issue. I normally use p3d but i moved back to FSX for the new qualitywings 787, i just couldnt wait but both flight beam ksfo and kmsp the jetways are not moving (except for the up and to the left). these sceneries worked great in p3d but not in fsx. i just want to clarify that it is possible\likely that the jetways were compiled using p3d and not fsx and that is something that flightbeam would have to fix.

i apologize if i should have created a new thread i just thought i would clutter up the forum with what sounds like the same issue.

The Flightbeam jetways surely do work. What comes to my mind when you wrote “moved back to FSX” is that the “Advanced Animations” flag must be set in FSX:
    fsx
