I’ve had SODE for a few years and have never had this issue. I was updating to 1.5.3 (I’m in P3D V3.4), but I can’t register or activate it in the manager. I am installing to the default path where the installer tells me (program files x86 in Windows 7). Judging by other posts in this forum, I’ve downloaded the external program manager and am pasting the log below. Any idea what’s going on? I do see sode in the addons menu within the simulator but i have no sode jetways.

I also see this in the log from the Platform Manager.
[19:17:10.054] FATAL SODE.FSLOOP : [API::INFORM] API Version mismatch! External App uses V0, SODE uses V213. August 2017 at 12:53 #1700
Are you using GSX?
If yes, then please update to its latest version which is V2.0 or above. The log tells me that an old GSX is still being used and this is not compatible with V1.5.3 of SODE.13. August 2017 at 14:11 #1704
Thanks for your response, but that didn’t work. I see SODE under the add-ons menu in P3d, but all it has is the “test DLL Connection” option and there are no jetways.

I have edited your log file to show the relevant parts, which lead to the answer given in the FAQ, section A: http://sode.12bpilot.ch/?topic=faq
SODE is installed properly, but needs input files to do something. There are no such input files from 3rd party scenery installed, so nothing to do for SODE. Expected behaviour.13. August 2017 at 15:04 #1709
But I have several SODE ready airports like drzewieke JFK, lga, Eva, and imagine sim atl installed?13. August 2017 at 15:15 #1710
SODE’s installer will never touch any of these 3rd party files (located in C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\xml and SimObjects). So either the airport installer or you yourself must have done something to them.
I suggest to re-install those airports. Their installers should do the proper handling of those files. That’s all help I can give to you, since SODE itself runs fine.
Be sure that you use the latest updated versions of those sceneries!13. August 2017 at 15:18 #1711
Ok. This all started when I installed the new DD JFK and lga yesterday. Like I said earlier, SODE was working fine up until that point. I will report back. Thanks!13. August 2017 at 18:59 #1717
That was the problem. Not sure why, but DD NY airports V2 messed SODE up. Thanks again.
