I have Aerosofts LSGG installed in P3D v4 and P3D v5. When I set my FSL A320 at Gate 3 and I activate SODE (TAB-S) the Jetway jumps 90 degrees to the left and nothing happens. Same on other Gates.

I tried to set the “<TargetSim ID=”P3Dv4;P3Dv5″/>” in the XML file. Nothing.

I attach the SODE.LOG. Maybe someone can help

    Thanks in advance

Edit: this is only in P3D v5. In P3D v4 everything is perfect

    Hi,

Thanks for the log. I did some research over at the aerosoft forums regarding LSGG and some others also reported this issue with the jetways initializing in this position. Since you are running the latest SODE 1.7.1 – in which the jetway initialization code has been fixed – I can rule out this.

However, in the log I can see this line:

[11:40:53.842] WARN SODE.FOLDERMANAGER : Could not extract ‘Module=SODE’ entry in the [General] section of ‘C:\P3Dv5 Addons\Aerosoft Geneva Professional V5\SimObjects\LSGG_Jetways\sim.cfg’!

This indicates that SODE is not able to properly load jetway related data (jetway.cfg) into its database. The visual model will be displayed, but all the animation/movement data is not available, as can be seen in these lines in the log:

    [11:42:13.033] ERROR SODE.FOLDERMANAGER : ‘jetway.cfg’ not found for Model ‘LSGG_Jetway_Type002_Static_A1’ of SimObject ‘aerosoft_LSGG_SODE_Jetways:Gate A1′! Path=’jetway.cfg’, Code(2)

    [11:42:13.034] ERROR SODE.FOLDERMANAGER : ‘jetway.cfg’ not found for Model ‘LSGG_Jetway_Type002’ of SimObject ‘aerosoft_LSGG_SODE_Jetways:Gate A1′! Path=’jetway.cfg’, Code(2)

In the aerosoft forum (https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/152999-geneva-professional-p3dv5-sode-problem/page/3/&_fromLogin=1) there was a “sim.cfg” posted and by looking at that one, I could spot the culprit.

In their sim.cfg, the “Module=default” should read “Module=SODE”. By doing so, SODE will be able to pick up the jetway data and initialize the position properly.
